| Saudi Electrodes Factory is the first factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is manufacturing welding electrodes. Even though it is a relatively young company it has come a long way since its inception. The factory is wholly owned by a Saudi National, Mr. Jamal Nasser Al Akeel.

| Land And Factory Area |
| The factory is located in Phase IV of the Jeddah Industrial Area on Plot No. E-4. The area of the plot is 75 x 75m i.e 5,625 square meters. The covered area, on which a half steel and half brick building is constructed, is approximately 35 x 65m i.e. 3575 square meters. The building has a production area, offices, raw material store and finished goods store, dining area for the employees, Chemical Laboratory and Mechanical testing rooms, as well as an area for the mosque.

| Saudi Electrodes Factory has its own wire drawing and wire cutting facility, with two extrusion lines capable of producing 10 tons of electrodes per 8 hours shift. It has two dry mixers as well 2 kneading Machines, two slug press, 3 high temperature ovens and a semi-Automatic packing line. It has its own Research Laboratory fully equipped with its own laboratory extruder. The laboratory is capable of doing research, and develop new products as per customers requirement. The factory has a very good quality system which is supported by a Mechanical Testing and a Chemical Testing Laboratory. At “ Saudi Electrodes Factory “, we are committed to produce Welding Consumables of high quality and according to International Standards like AWS ( i.e American Welding Society ). All our products go through Stringent Quality Control before they are released for dispatch. We are please to advise that Saudi Rod is an “ ISO 9002 “ approved company.
Our products are available in cartons as well as in Hermetically Sealed Cans. In addition, we have exported our products to various countries in the Middle East as well as Asia. |
