SAUDIROD SR-7018-1

SPECS: AWS: A5.1 E-7018-1 / SFA 5.1 E-7018-1

Characteristics

An all positional basic coated low hydrogen electrode, highly resistant to hydrogen induced embrittlement. Deposition efficiency approximate 115%. Weld metal is designed for low temperature impact strength requirement, and offers excellent impact toughness at -46 °C Weld metal is very resistant to hot cracking. Recommended where guaranteed Mechanical properties in the stress relieved condition are required.

Application

For radiographic quality welds on a variety of steels, with good impact toughness at sub-zero temperatures.Recommended for applications wheretemperature variation is high likeFurnaces, Pressure vessels/pipelines, etc. Recommended for welding of offshore structures and high strength ship steels. Ideal for welding on fine grained carbon manganese steel.

Recommended for building up of heavily worn mild & low alloy steel components prior to final hand surfacing layers.
